Years back I have stayed here wasn’t happy at the time! I can honestly say this place has gone a long way! The remodel is great I love it . Old fashion way key unlock Iit! Keeping the historical look on outer part of Motel was a great idea! The stay was greaaaat!!!!! Nice n quiet!
Usually I would wait until after a trip to leave a review for a multitude of reasons but I'm going out on a limb here. Lisa, she is the manager of the place. She worked with us on a group situation, and assured us it was a safe and clean environment. When we rolled up, a few of our guys made a comment like is this place going to be really old rooms and even older mattresses? When we opened these rooms it was like a page from a magazine. Like I think I figured out where all those "other hotels" steal pictures of good hotels from. This place is so amazing! The beds are great, the floors are new and bathrooms are all new! Nice flat screens, I feel like I'm being their commercial but really. This place is great for a nice get away or a few days for business without being in a big city. Way safer environment and nice staff. Really easy check in, rooms were definitely clean and we appreciate being here. Thank you!

I love staying in older, well-maintained locally owned motels. The desk clerk was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. I'm really picky about housekeeping. These folks obviously take care of their rooms. The towels, pillows, and sheets were clean. There were no weird odors. They have a nice balcony and a gazebo where you can relax. The room was surprisingly spacious. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I'll stay here again.
The receptionist was very friendly. The room was spacious. Beds were comfy. The bathroom was a bit small and it would have been nice to have different types of soaps in the bathroom. There was too much sun coming in through a window that did not have a curtain. The train is pretty close and it runs at least until 11 pm. It is also easy to hear people upstairs walking around and others tvs. We noticed that the door did not close properly as well. It is basically what you are paying for, but otherwise it was a good stay. I was able to sleep through the night without any weird noises or train waking me up.
Recently stayed a few nights here while out of town for work. I was really pleased with what it had to offer for a small town motel. Great rate for a nights stay. The staff were really super nice and welcoming, it really stood out to me. Peaceful quiet nights and the room was really nice, well decorated and had a cozy feel. And had plenty of room to park my work truck. I'd definitely stay here again if I were to be in the area.
The people at the motel was professional and nice. My stay was quite, comfortable and safe. My room was remodeled, spacious and clean. The only thing I noticed was the refrigerator was not cold enough to keep my food cold.
